Smart Moves with Sue

Let me introduce myself! I'm Sue Gunselman.

What I’ve valued most in my 39 years as a licensed real estate agent is walking alongside my clients as they made the best decisions for themselves and their families. I’ve learned to ask the questions my clients haven’t thought of yet, questions that help them uncover their own desires, fears and needs. As I coach them through this discovery process, they arrive at solutions that empower them to confidently make decisions they will not later regret.
I’ve sold more than a 1,000 homes in my career, so I’ve pretty much seen it all. This experience, coupled with my attention to detail, means my Smart Moves with Sue clients can be confident I know the ins-and-outs of the industry and how those “mysteries” affect them as a home buyer or seller. I love working as an advocate for my clients, listening and helping them sort through the options, so they create the housing plan that suits them best and live in a home that brings them joy.
This love of helping my clients confidently move toward the housing transitions they needed or wanted led me to expand my own life goals. I went on to earn my professional coaching certification (CPC) as a life coach, through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC), a widely recognized rigorous certification program accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Now I can offer clients looking to make any life transitions the guidance, support, and inspiration they need to move forward to embrace all life has to offer.
One of my own best thinking spaces is time spent in nature. I feed my own well-being by walking, flower gardening, golfing, beaching, and socializing with family and friends. I also give back to my community by volunteering at our local food bank and chairing the events committee at Mainspring of Ephrata. I serve as a member of the Northern Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce and the Ephrata Area Garden Club, and I am an agency partner with the Pennsylvania Link to Aging and Disability Resources (LINK – Lancaster/Berks/Lebanon county).
I’m so grateful my family lives close by, because my “happy place” is spending time with the grandkids!
